OGT (aka, One Good Thing) were introduced to us by our partner, Mark Danby of DMC Group fame towards the end of 2024. We instantly loved the product and the mission – entirely wrapperless, oat energy bars. On their website, they liken the coating on their bars to the skin of an apple, smooth, waterproof, easy to bite though, and able to be rinsed if necessary. Not only does this reduce waste and litter – it makes for a convenient snack to consume while on the go; like when you’re riding a bike, no more messing around with wrappers.
You can get a OGT trial pack of 12 bars for just £9.99
OGT had been seeing fantastic results on META, but were struggling to make Google Ads work for them, and so Mark knew just who to refer them to.
When we first started talking to Daniel, co-founder of OGT, about his Google Ads campaign, he informed us that ROAS wasn’t actually that important to them and could be hard to achieve with the aggressive sign-up discount. What they really needed was sign-ups to the subscription service, which would provide a ROAS over time. So, what did we do? We gave him both.

The Team at OGT are so pleased with their results, they’re now discussing a major budget increase with us – but softly softly catchy monkey. The key to scaling up is maintaining that sweet spot where Google rewards you with the best conversion rate. Sudden, drastic increases in budget alarms and excites Google in a way that you don’t want. If the budget is suddenly available, Google wants to find a way to spend it. By slowly increasing it over a series of months, Google continues to reward you to entice you further.
